Security training for crew members is a course for cockpit and cabin crew members that have aviation security related duties.

Pursuant to ICAO Annex 6, Part I – 13.4, crew members shall receive appropriate training for coping with acts of unlawful interference. Training requirements for crew members implementing security measures on board aircraft have been prescribed in provision 11.2.3.11 in the Annex to Commission Regulation (EU) No 2015/1998 and AMC1 ORO.GEN.110(a) of EASA Air OPS.

Content of the course is based on these sources and covers the basics of coping with acts of unlawful interference, aircraft protection requirements and aircraft security check and search requirements. However, modules can be added or removed to facilitate your training needs. An optional extra includes provision 11.2.6 of the Annex to Regulation (EU) No 2015/1998 for crew members to whom Crew Member Certificate, Airport ID or a Crew ID is issued.
