Regulation (EU) No 2015/1998 entry into force

As of 01 February 2016, the Commission Regulation (EU) No 2015/1998 of 05 November 2015 enters into force, laying down detailed measures for the implementation of the common basic standards on aviation security. It repeals the Commission Regulation (EU) No 185/2010 that has been amended 20 times since entry into force.

In order to accommodate the changes brought by Regulation No 2015/1998, new aviation security training programmes have been drawn up by Aviation Consulting and have been subsequently been approved by Estonian Civil Aviation Administration. As of 01 February 2016, all security training courses are delivered by Aviation Consulting in accordance with the new training programmes.
